Waste handling, Waste pumps

The handling of waste is important in an efficient peeling line.
Removing the waste product in an effective way always produces a cleaner production environment.

When the FORMIT Combi-peelers are used without additional water in the peeling process, a wangen waste pump is an effective way to remove waste. The pump can transfer the waste (in a pipe) for 100 m and it can lift the waste 10 meters upwards.
In so far as a great deal of water is used in the peeling process, it is recommended to use other systems for the removal of waste.
