Waste handling Combi-5 The waste handling for the Combi-5 can be performed in many different ways and the max waste production is approx 500 kg/hour (50% yield and 500 kg production).In so far as the Combi-5 is used without additional water in the peeling process, the waste will be similar to mashed potatoes. The recommended method in handling waste is to use a pump to remove the waste from the peeler. An alternative method is to remove the waste through waste channels on the floor. In so far as waste channels on the floor are used, additional water is required for the process. The Combi-5 is also designed for the handling of waste with boxes. The support frame allows the waste box to be moved from one of the two length sides.
